So many new things happening

Alright readers, I should have written about 10 blog posts since my last one but here we go!

First, today until the 14th I’m doing coupon code “ontheroadagain” for 10% off your entire order. I’ll be on the road! I originally moved away from boxes to envelopes for shipping so that I could ship knives even while traveling, and I have just purchased a rechargeable bluetooth shipping label printer to do exactly that! What does that mean for my current inventory of Primitive Bear Knives that are in boxes? Well, it will suck, but I’ll bring those as well and find a way to get them shipped out as well!

Speaking of which, currently on the website I have a new website tab titled “jgp cutlery”- this is the beginning of a new premium knife retailer/ dealer! So I intend to have primarily hand American made fixed blades in stock from various reputable makers available for sale on my website! Eventually if this works of course JGP Cutlery will have its own website.

In other news, I also have a new knife collaboration coming up named the “Siren”- this will be a short, ultra thin and flexible fillet knife blade on a handle inspired by the Jackalope! These will be made in 52100 by Bear Forest Knives and they will feature sheaths by the one and only Spirit Of The Bear Designs!

I have also started accepting peoples collections of used knives to auction off. Eventually I hope to host an auction every Thursday, save this Thursday. If you are interested in doing this understand that the used knife market is pretty difficult right now, so selling large numbers of user grade knives is difficult, and the return on investment for these used knife auction sales will be quite low. With that being said, knives that do not sell at auction will be sold at lowest bid prices in the JGB segment of the website.
