So the original inspiration for collaborating with Chroma for their AMAZING custom scales was building brick and trout scales.

The building brick scales were and are fun, but the trout scales were closer to my heart as in my eyes fishing is so closely tied to adventure.

In choosing what options to include with the trout scales I wanted to go with a very fine, near polish finish on the blade and clear kydex to make the knife resemble a fishing lure!

In the spirit of this current sale I have decided to grab a few lures to randomly drop into Trout Edition orders and honestly I have some lure envy. The Aglia and the Comet Minnow are absolute classics that take me right back to my childhood, the Rapala J7 is SUPER cool and I have been wanting to grab a jointed Rapala for myself for quite some time now (I grabbed 2 of them so 2 of you lucky folks will get one!), and the grand prize is this absolutely wild Baby Bull Shad glide bait which comes in at a half ounce and 3.75" of length. I may have to grab one of those for myself just to see the action!!!
