The Mutant has finally arrived!
In the early stages of production the Jackalope had an oppsie and was made 25% larger. At first we thought this might just be a happy mistake but after some trials and use I quickly realized that this knife was so much more- it had taken on a life of its own and with minor tweaking it could make for a truly versatile and unique primary belt knife!
Like all current XK&T designs the Mutant is not an edc knife, a bushcraft knife, a combat knife or a survival knife; it is first and foremost a practical and versatile knife that is intended to perform well at any given task. With that being said the swedge and revised forward and rear guard do give this blade more combat capability than any other knife in the lineup as well as making the knife handy for larger bushcraft and survival chores- all while remaining light weight and easier to carry than most other options on the market!
